Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway, expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, has publicly praised co-star Tom Holland, calling him a 'dream son' and expressing hope that her own children grow up to be as wonderful as the British actor.

What Hathaway Said About Holland

During a joint interview promoting their upcoming film, Hathaway was asked how she channels her 'mother energy' into her role as Penelope — the mother of Holland's character Telemachus — in Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated epic 'The Odyssey'. Her answer was warm and immediate.

'Well, first of all, I have to say as a mom in real life, I very much hope all of my children grow up to be as wonderful as my onscreen child,' Hathaway said, motioning toward Holland, who was seated beside her. She added: 'Tom is like a dream son. And that, honestly, is kind of like the key to it. We have this amazing script, brilliant actors.'

The On-Set Bond That Shaped the Film

Hathaway went on to describe the chemistry among the cast as a grounding force behind what is otherwise a large-scale production. 'But also, I just really like Tom,' she said, also expressing affection for co-star Matt Damon, who portrays King Odysseus in the film.

'And I love Chris, and so I just feel like even though this was this big, epic movie, it was really grounded in, like, intimate appreciation of each other, respect for each other,' she said. Hathaway further noted that the cast's collective desire not to disappoint Nolan pushed everyone to perform at their best: 'I don't think any of us wanted to let Chris down. So I think we all just kind of harnessed our highest strength and our highest passion, and we just tried to be an actor that was worthy of being in a Chris Nolan movie.'

Hathaway's Third Pregnancy

Hathaway revealed her third pregnancy via Instagram on 19 June, sharing a clip of herself in a crop top and flowy skirt that showed her baby bump. She captioned the post: 'x Baby, I'm yours x.' The actress, known for keeping her personal life out of the spotlight, is already mother to sons Jonathan, aged 10, and Jack, aged 6, both with Shulman.
