Mumbai, March 12 (NationPress) The highly anticipated soundtrack for the upcoming streaming film ‘Be Happy’, featuring Abhishek Bachchan, was officially launched on Wednesday. This album showcases the legendary voices of the Hindi film music industry.
Comprising twelve original songs, the album boasts an impressive lineup of playback singers, including Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Kailash Kher, Vishal Dadlani, and Sukriti Bhardwaj, all contributing their talents to the tracks.
The lyrics are penned by Pranav Vatsa, while the music is composed by Harsh Upadhyay.
Reflecting on his contribution, Kailash Kher stated, “This song, ‘Praan Pita Ka’, holds significance as it conveys a love that often goes unspoken—a father’s sacrifices and silent strength, embodying the complex emotions he harbors. The character Shiv’s journey as a father in Be Happy resonates deeply, and ‘Praan Pita Ka’ captures that essence beautifully. The lyrics and melody touched me profoundly, and I hope it resonates with audiences, allowing them to cherish meaningful relationships.”
Meanwhile, Vishal Dadlani, who performed on the track ‘Raja’, remarked, “This song encapsulates a profound sense of emotion, resilience, and belief that I felt strongly while performing it. ‘Raja’ is both powerful and soulful, and I believe it will connect with listeners in various ways. It’s a memorable piece, and I’m grateful to have contributed to it.”
The album is released under the T-Series label.
Sharing insights about the album's creation, composer Harsh Upadhyay commented, “Music is the essence of any film, and we aspire for the Be Happy album to be on everyone’s playlists. It reflects the journey of Shiv and Dhara—their aspirations, challenges, and the passion that drives them. Each song, whether it’s ‘Superstar’, ‘Mere Papa’, ‘Sultana’, or ‘Praan Pita Ka’, narrates a story within the larger narrative.”
He added, “Working with such talented artists to realize this vision has been a dream come true. I’m immensely thankful to Remo sir for his belief in me—his guidance made this journey truly special. I’m thrilled for audiences to delve into the emotional richness embedded in every melody.”
‘Be Happy’ is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on March 14.
