Mumbai, September 4 (NationPress) - Actress Saba Azad is basking in the glow of her recent success with ‘Songs of Paradise’. Adding to her joy, the acclaimed Bollywood star and her boyfriend, Hrithik Roshan, has publicly commended her for her performance!
The actor took to social media to share several captivating stills of Saba from the film.
In his heartfelt post, he wrote, “The genuine acclaim I’m hearing from all quarters for the creators, technicians, and performers involved with Songs of Paradise is truly uplifting. I viewed this film in its initial stages months ago, and it deeply resonated with me. Tears filled my eyes as I felt such profound love, particularly for the character of Zeba.
He continued, “The overwhelming recognition this film is receiving has reaffirmed my unwavering faith in the universe. You ultimately receive what you earn. And you, @sabazad, as the brilliant artist you are and for the exquisite art you craft, deserve every bit of this acclaim. I have witnessed your journey, the struggles, the helplessness, and the frustrations that so many talented artists endure - yearning for the fundamental right to opportunities that true talent warrants in an industry often prioritizing 'followers' over 'actors'. Thus, today, I feel immense joy witnessing you receive what you rightfully deserve. You, my love, are worthy of the world and beyond. This performance ranks among my top ten of all time.
Hrithik concluded his touching message with, “Rock on, baby! My heart is full. I love you.”
In a recent exclusive chat with IANS, Saba shared how the music of ‘Songs of Paradise’ has significantly contributed to her evolution as a musician. “My musical exposure was diverse, thanks to my parents who introduced us to all genres. There was folk, Indian classical, Western classical, and of course, rock and roll legends. I was profoundly moved by the film’s music, as I had little knowledge of Kashmiri music outside of the Santoor, which is a well-known Kashmiri instrument.”
She further expressed, “This has been an enlightening experience for me. I truly learned a lot about Kashmiri music, and I am grateful to Danish (the director) for introducing me to the world of Raj Begum and her artistry. It aligned perfectly with my sensibilities. Music is a universal language that resonates deeply, regardless of understanding the lyrics. I appreciate all forms of music, and this was a wonderful opportunity to immerse myself in great sounds.” Saba Azad portrays the character of Zeba Akhtar, inspired by the legendary Kashmiri singer Raj Begum, in the film ‘Songs of Paradise’. The movie is produced by Excel Entertainment, Apple Tree Pictures Production, and Renzu Films Production.
