In Mumbai on March 6, Bollywood icon Hrithik Roshan shared an emotional message on social media for his sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan Roshan, highlighting the essence of fatherhood and the depth of unconditional love.

This touching note resonated with his ex-wife, Sussanne Khan, who expressed her feelings by suggesting that Hrithik should consider writing a book focused on fatherhood.

In her remarks on the post, Sussanne commented: “What an epic picture… and such beautiful thoughts! You should definitely write a book! Dedicated to fatherhood.”

Along with a nostalgic photograph featuring him and his sons, Hrithik shared, “ANOTHER STATUTORY WARNING. #loverant. It's incredibly fulfilling to witness your children thrive. It made me reflect on how proud I am as a father.”

He continued, “I take pride in the remarkable individuals they are becoming, their skills, achievements, work ethic, humility, and pride. However, I realized that pride often ties to accomplishments, creating a cycle of feeling loved only when performing well. Unfortunately, that pride can sometimes disguise itself as love.”

Hrithik’s message further elaborated, “Through this reflection, I wish to convey (and hopefully inspire) that my pride, no matter how significant, can never overshadow my love for you.

Just as you are.

You exist.

You are sufficient.

You are cherished.

You belong. That’s all.”

He encouraged them to “go ahead and create, explore everything — define success on your own terms, pursue triumph in all endeavors, even in the art of idleness. Embrace failure; I wish for you to experience spectacular failures, even strange ones.”

“Allow yourself to feel everything — every human emotion, let it flow through you — grab some popcorn and observe it with awe, experiencing the pain, joy, loss, connection, loneliness, energy, hopelessness, and intimacy — beneath it all lies a quiet sense of wonder. Dive into it,” he added.

“Because that’s the only true pursuit: the human experience. Not about finding meaning, winning, or arriving. But about truly experiencing.

The actor ended his post with the words, “And if I ever forget and start measuring your worth — please remind me. Love always came first.”

The nostalgic post features a throwback image of Hrithik enjoying a moment on a yacht alongside his two sons during their younger days.

For those unfamiliar, Hrehaan and Hridhaan are the sons of Hrithik Roshan and his ex-wife Sussanne Khan.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2000, welcomed Hrehaan in 2006 and Hridhaan in 2008. After 14 years of marriage, they separated in 2013 and finalized their divorce in 2014.

Despite their split, the former partners have maintained a strong friendship and co-parent their children effectively.

Both have also moved on in their personal lives; Hrithik is currently in a relationship with actress Sabaa Azad, while Sussanne is dating actor Arslan Goni.

The two couples often spend time together, sharing mini-vacations and creating memories.
