Los Angeles, May 27 (NationPress) - Renowned singer-songwriter Janet Jackson, who received the Icon Award at the 2025 American Music Awards following her first television performance in seven years, stated that she does not view herself as an “icon”.
Before accepting the special award, the star delivered a medley, as reported by deadline.com.
“I am incredibly honored and grateful. With all due respect, I don’t see myself as an icon,” she expressed during her acceptance speech.
