Mumbai, October 28 (NationPress) Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor appears to be enjoying quality moments with her beloved pet husky.
In a recent social media post, she shared a humorous video sped up to 2x, showcasing her showering affection on her huskies, who responded by embracing her in return. In her caption, Janhvi joked, “I’m planning to kick off a new series featuring the times I’ve been smothered by my overenthusiastic, giant brother Bhaitama Saitama and (can I say this?) my favorite child.”
The actress has a deep affection for her furry friends and frequently shares adorable photos and videos of them on her social media platforms. Recently, Janhvi made an appearance as a guest on the talk show Two Much alongside Kajol and Twinkle. During the show, she paid tribute to her late mother, the Bollywood icon Sridevi, revealing that she had written a heartfelt poem in her memory, which she read aloud, moving everyone to tears.
The emotional lines include, “Bachi thi phir achanak ek din woh haq kho diya, Jo laad mangti thi usse muh mod liya, Apni awaaz kho ke apni maa ki awaaz me baat karti hu, Issi jariye me unke paas bhi rakhti hu.” (I was a child who suddenly lost my right; the one I sought love from, I turned away; having lost my own voice, I now speak in my mother’s voice — and through it, I keep her close.) For those unaware, Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018, in Dubai due to an accidental drowning at the age of 54.
Her passing, just months before Janhvi's debut film Dhadak, shocked the nation. Hundreds of fans gathered in Mumbai to bid a tearful farewell during her funeral. Following her debut, Janhvi has starred in notable films such as Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Good Luck Jerry, Millie, Bawal, and Mr & Mrs Mahi. Her younger sister, Khushi Kapoor, made her debut in The Archies in 2023 and was also featured in Nadaniyaan alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan.
Janhvi's most recent appearance was in the movie Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring alongside Varun Dhawan, Rohit Saraf, Sania Malhotra, and Maniesh Paul.
