Mumbai, March 11 (NationPress) Janhvi Kapoor captivated audiences with her electrifying moves in the Nadiyon Paar song from the 2021 film Roohi.
As the horror-comedy marks its 4th anniversary on March 11, Janhvi took to social media to share a few light-hearted stories from the dance sequence.
She mentioned that she practiced the song for 3 days amidst the shooting of her film Goodluck Jerry before filming Nadiyon Paar.
The talented actress expressed on her IG, "4 years of #Roohi and my first solo dance number. I was so young. I felt extremely anxious about this song. I hadn’t even mastered keeping my eyes open without squinting under bright lights... I rehearsed for 3 days between the shoots of Goodluck Jerry, filmed in Patiala all night for GLJ, flew out after packing up in the morning, shot Nadiyon Paar that night, and completed the song in 7 hours with no sleep, then rushed back to resume Jerry that day. A 3-day no-sleep marathon fueled by the thrill of being in front of the camera."
Janhvi also shared that her outfit for the song was created in just one day, stating, "Interesting fact: this outfit was crafted in one day after a last-minute desperate call to my knight in shining armor @manishmalhotra05... Hair, makeup, dance, wardrobe — all inspiration was iconic @katrinakaif. Everything was just perfect," she added.
Directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner, Roohi tells the story of a ghost that kidnaps brides during their honeymoons.
