Mumbai, April 10 (NationPress) Bollywood star John Abraham left audiences in awe back in 2004 when he reached a speed of 300 kmph on his Hayabusa in the film ‘Dhoom’. However, that exhilarating speed was for cinematic purposes, as he was pursued by Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.
This time around, he has taken things to another level with his latest acquisition in his motorcycle collection. John has a deep passion for superbikes and has significantly contributed to the development of biking culture in India.
In a recent interview with IANS, the actor, who was seen in the series ‘The Diplomat’, shared insights about his new ride, the Aprilia RSV4 1100 factory.
John mentioned, “My bike has an 1100cc engine. It’s a powerful motorcycle equipped with a B4 engine.”
When questioned about whether the bike is fitted with a Turbocharger, which enhances the pressure of the fuel-air mixture in the combustion chamber, he denied.
He elaborated, “I’ve increased the power to approximately 235bhp. That’s incredibly powerful for a motorcycle. The power-to-weight ratio is remarkable. The bike can reach a top speed of around 360 kilometers per hour, but I’ve managed only 305 kmph.”
Previously, John shared with IANS that he was underestimated after his debut film. Nonetheless, his determination enabled him to bounce back with greater strength.
He expressed that he focuses on building his future rather than dwelling on past failures, which is why he has been able to move beyond initial setbacks and seize opportunities ahead.
He stated, “You are only as good as your last performance. Therefore, it’s essential to look forward. While it’s crucial for the film industry and the audience to be aware of your filmography, you must personally look ahead.”
“Ultimately, it’s up to the audience to evaluate your body of work,” he added.
