Los Angeles, July 11 (NationPress) The renowned popstar Justin Bieber has officially launched his seventh album titled “Swag”, just hours after revealing the project along with its complete tracklist.
This latest album features 21 tracks, collaborating with a diverse range of artists such as Gunna, Sexyy Red, Druski, Dijon, Lil B, Cash Cobain, Eddie Benjamin, and Marvin Winans on the final track, “Forgiveness,” which is a rendition of “Lord, I Lift Your Name on High.”
Bieber took the reins on production for “Swag” alongside notable producers like Carter Lang, Dylan Wiggins, Daniel Caesar, mk.gee, Daniel Chetrit, and Knox Fortune, as per reports from Variety.
Prior to the album's announcement, fans spotted billboards in locations such as Iceland, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, featuring an image of Bieber alongside the word “Swag,” hinting that new music was on the horizon.
Bieber confirmed the authenticity of the billboards by sharing them on his Instagram and subsequently posted a video filmed in New York City’s Times Square, showcasing a 20-song tracklist.
He also shared images from what seemed to be the album cover shoot, featuring moments with his son Jack Blues and wife Hailey.
In the months leading up to “Swag,” Bieber provided glimpses of studio sessions on social media, indicating he was working on new material. Reports suggest he hosted jam sessions at his Los Angeles home with collaborators like Carter Lang, Eddie Benjamin, and Tay James.
“Swag” serves as a follow-up to his previous album “Justice,” which debuted in 2021. That album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and featured hit singles such as “Anyone,” “Hold On,” and the massive success “Peaches” featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon.
After the release of “Justice,” Bieber commenced his Justice World Tour in February 2022, according to Variety.
Despite having scheduled dates through March 2023, he shortened the tour to focus on his health in September 2022, ultimately canceling the postponed shows.
