New Delhi, July 17 (NationPress) The charming interactions between Miss Braganza and Mr. Malhotra in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai captivated audiences. Yet, veteran actor Anupam Kher, who portrayed the endearing college principal in the 1998 classic, believes that the fashionable English literature teacher, played by Archana Puran Singh, might not genuinely choose him.

When asked if he would like to see a film focused solely on the romance of Mr. Malhotra and Miss Braganza, Anupam responded: “Absolutely! I would love that.”

However, the septuagenarian thinks that Miss Braganza wouldn’t pick Mr. Malhotra as her soulmate.

Explaining his reasoning, he stated: “I sense that, ultimately, Miss Braganza will not select Mr. Malhotra as her life partner because Miss Braganza is too chic while Mr. Malhotra is too... adorable. Whenever I appear on Kapil's show, Archana always mentions… I advise her to let him go now.”

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is directed by Karan Johar, marking his directorial debut. The film features Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Salman Khan, and Sana Saeed.

The narrative unfolds across two timelines, depicting a love triangle among college friends Rahul, Anjali, and Tina. It conveys the tale of Anjali, a tomboy, who harbors feelings for her best friend Rahul, only to suffer heartbreak when he chooses to marry Tina. Eight years later, Rahul's daughter embarks on a mission to reunite him with Anjali.

The film garnered multiple accolades, including the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

Meanwhile, Anupam's latest venture, Tanvi The Great, signifies his return to directing after a hiatus of over two decades. This film features an ensemble cast of notable performers from both Indian and International cinema, including Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, Nasser, and Iain Glen.

Additionally, the film includes two Oscar winners: music maestro M.M. Keeravani and sound designer Resul Pookutty. The cinematography is handled by Keiko Nakahara from Japan.

The story revolves around Tanvi Raina, a 21-year-old woman on the autism spectrum, who resides with her mother Vidya and grandfather Colonel Pratap Raina.

Inspired by her late father, Captain Samar Raina, an Indian Army officer who aspired to salute the flag at Siachen Glacier, Tanvi is determined to honor his legacy by joining the army and fulfilling his dream.
