Mumbai, Jan 5 (NationPress) Filmmaker Karan Johar has shared a message for enthusiastic reel consumers and reflected on how they have said farewell to the silently suffering attention span.
Karan took to his Instagram stories, where he posted a significant note that also mentioned “killing books” due to the consumption of short clips.
“Dear avid REEL consumer, You have officially said goodbye to the silently suffering ‘Attention Span’... and as far as I am concerned, you took my life a decade ago. Regretfully yours, BOOK,” he captioned.
As a frequent social media user, Karan often shares thought-provoking yet humorous quotes on his platforms.
Earlier this week, KJo reminisced about his cherished memories and opened his “yaadon ka dabba”.
He shared a nostalgic post regarding the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani”, which came out in 2013.
He wrote, “It’s time to relive this yaadon ka mithai ka dabba! #YehJawaaniHaiDeewani in select cinemas near you - book your tickets now!”
KJo's latest Instagram post featured a collage of memorable moments from the film, capturing its essence of “Pyaar, Sapna, Deewanapan, Dosti”.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” starred Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin in leading roles. The film was produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions banner, with music composed by Pritam.
“Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” narrates the journey of four classmates who embark on a trekking trip together, forever altering their friendships. The film is also known for its unforgettable songs such as 'Badtameez Dil', 'Balam Pichkari', 'Subhanallah', 'Kabira', 'Ilaahi', and 'Dilliwaali Girlfriend'.
Karan revealed on January 2 what he considers to be his greatest passion.
He stated, “Filme..What we live and die for...” It is no surprise that Karan Johar has devoted his entire life to filmmaking, and he continues to do so even today.
Regarding Karan Johar's upcoming project, the director has recently partnered with Kartik Aryan for a romantic comedy titled 'Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri'. Sameer Vidwans will direct the movie, which is set to hit theaters in 2026.
