The actress posted a family portrait of the Kapoor clan showcasing her beloved family members. This included her illustrious grandfather Raj Kapoor, her star parents Randhir Kapoor and Babita, along with her uncle Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Shashi Kapoor and his wife Jennifer Kendal, and Rajiv Kapoor along with his spouse.

In the image, a young Kareena and Ridhima Kapoor Sahni (daughter of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, sister to Ranbir Kapoor) are seen nestled on the laps of Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor, her grandmother. A slightly older Karisma Kapoor is also present, sitting beside her grandparents. Kareena captioned this heartfelt post with, “The roots, the legacy.”

On the professional front, Kareena recently announced via her social media that she has commenced filming for her 68th project, posting updates from her first day on the set of Daayra.

She captioned it, “Day 1 of the 68th film, Daayra, with the incredible @meghnagulzar and @therealprithvi. Please send love and blessings (sic).” The film, described as an intense crime-drama thriller, also features Prithviraj Sukumaran.
