Chennai, Oct 8 (NationPress) Director Nalan Kumarasamy’s much-anticipated commercial entertainer ‘Vaa Vaathiyaar’, starring Karthi and Krithi Shetty in lead roles, is set to release in theaters on December 5, 2025, as announced by its production team on Wednesday.
The film’s production company, Studio Green, shared this exciting news on their social media platform, stating, "The Swag Master locks the date! #VaaVaathiyaar storms into theatres on December 05, 2025. A #NalanKumarasamy Entertainer. A @Music_Santhosh Musical #VaaVaathiyaarOnDec5."
Earlier this year, on Valentine’s Day, the film’s team unveiled the first single titled ‘Uyir Pathikaama’.
In addition to Karthi and Krithi Shetty, the film features a talented ensemble cast including Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, Anand Raj, Shilpa Manjunath, Karunakaran, G M Sundar, Ramesh Thilak, P L Thenappan, Vidhya Borgia, Nivas Adthitan, and Madhur Mittal.
Notably, Karthi portrays a police officer, with Karunakaran as his assistant.
