Los Angeles, Sep 23 (NationPress) Singer-songwriter Katy Perry is commemorating the first anniversary of her album '143' with a heartfelt tribute to her fans. On Tuesday, the star shared a collection of images and videos from her performances and behind-the-scenes moments on her Instagram.

In her caption, she expressed her gratitude towards her devoted followers, affectionately known as KC (Katy Cats).

She wrote, “You KCs know I’m not one for anniversary posts. I tend to be mostly a futurist, but it would be negligent of me not to recognize the remarkable impact this past year has had on me. One year ago, '143' was released, and I took the weekend to reflect. Albums are snapshots of an artist attempting to narrate their journey and hoping that listeners resonate with the messages. To me, '143' was essentially me expressing my love for my fans. Looking back, it has all been about reconnecting through these songs and this amazing tour that has allowed me to see so many of you again and for the first time. We cats (and rats) have experienced a rollercoaster, but no matter where the ride took us, we've been in it together.”

She further expressed pride in the community that she and her fans have created and its evolution over the years. She emphasized the significance of history, stating that we learn from it and are reminded of how to navigate our future by reflecting on the past.

She added, “We celebrate the wins and reflect on the losses. All of it is valuable. Let’s hope we can continue to evolve together for years to come, and at the end of it all, feel proud and at peace with our efforts in this imperfect world. Recently, I have been seeing 341, which has me contemplating whether I finally love myself. I get to answer that question anew every day. Today’s answer is yes. I am proud of where and how I have landed at this moment. Proud of myself, proud of my fans, and proud that I keep on swinging. Wrapping up the South American leg once again reminded me of what’s real.”
