Mumbai, Feb 10 (NationPress) Actress Kiara Advani is currently engaged in simultaneous shooting for the upcoming Yash-starrer Toxic, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Geetu Mohandas, in both English and Kannada.

A source close to the production disclosed: "Kiara Advani is concurrently working on 'Toxic' in both English and Kannada languages, marking her debut bilingual project. The process is demanding, but Kiara is committed to mastering the subtleties of both languages."

“Kiara's commitment is genuinely admirable, and she’s been smoothly transitioning between the two languages, showcasing her best performance,” the source noted.

“Toxic” is a gripping, action-packed gangster drama that promises to provide a new viewpoint on the action genre, under the direction of Mohandas.

As per a statement, the choice to film in both English and Kannada is intended to enhance the movie's global appeal while retaining its regional identity, alongside Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and English, enabling Kiara to broaden her audience on a worldwide scale.

Recently, the actress commenced the shooting schedule in Bangalore.

A production insider revealed, “After wrapping up a significant schedule in Goa, Kiara Advani and Yash have now moved to Bangalore to initiate a lengthy and vital shooting phase for Toxic. This segment will delve deeper into the film’s thrilling narrative, and both Yash and Kiara are excited to bring this distinctive story to life.”

Sources further indicate that the Bangalore shooting schedule will include crucial scenes that examine significant facets of the storyline.

Before this, the team filmed a song sequence in Goa featuring Kiara and Yash, choreographed by the acclaimed Ganesh Acharya.

Besides Kiara Advani and Yash, Toxic will feature Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Darrell D'Silva in key roles, along with other actors.

In addition to Toxic, Kiara Advani is also set to star as the lead in Ayan Mukerji's “War 2”. This film, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, will see the return of Kabir Dhaliwal (played by Hrithik Roshan) as he confronts a new national threat.
