Mumbai, Feb 10 (NationPress) Actress Kunickaa Sadanand, known for her recent appearance in the 19th season of “Bigg Boss”, has expressed her strong disapproval regarding a social media troll who dragged her family into an online scandal by making comparisons with the acclaimed singer Kumar Sanu.

The actress spoke out after a troll referenced a past conversation between Kunickaa and social media influencer Tanya Mittal, which included inappropriate remarks about Kumar Sanu's private life and made derogatory comparisons concerning Kunickaa's son, Ayaan.

On the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, a user shared an AI-generated image juxtaposing Kumar Sanu and Kunickaa's son, highlighting similarities in their appearances.

The post read: “Hey, um—how do I say this? We’ve all witnessed it. We’ve seen Kunika, we’ve heard her, okay? We’ve literally watched her discussing with #TanyaMittal about her connection with Kumar Sanu—about how his married life was disrupted and all that. But I think she forgot one very, very, very important detail. @Kunickaa, you should have been truthful then!”

Labeling the comments as unacceptable, Kunickaa asserted that the situation had gone too far.

“This is becoming excessive. Dragging my family members and another individual who possesses ‘Personality Rights’ is out of line. I won’t allow this foul-mouthed troll to escape accountability. Madam Chaturvedi, keep an eye out.”

Kunickaa further questioned the motivations behind such online assaults, directly addressing Tanya Mittal and her followers, asking if this behavior was genuinely a source of joy or merely a display of “vicious strength” masquerading as popularity.

“I ask @itanyamittal and her fandoms, is this truly what brings you happiness, to gloat over your fame or exhibit vicious strength?”

Known for portraying various roles in Indian cinema, Kunickaa has also ventured into singing, releasing three pop albums: Lakhon Mein Ek in 1996, Kunickaa in 2002, and Joombish in 2006.

Her first break as an actress came from Manju Asrani, the wife of the renowned comic actor Asrani, in a television series. Kunickaa later landed a role in the TV show Adalat, directed by Dheeraj Kumar.

Launching her film journey at the age of 28 in the 1988 horror movie Kabrastan, she has since taken on numerous negative roles in films such as Beta, Gumraah, and Khiladi.

With over 110 films to her credit in a span of 25 years, her cinematic journey includes titles like King Uncle, Kohra, Aa Gale Lag Jaa, Baazi, Loafer, Fareb, Hum Saath Saath Hain, and Fugly, among others.

She portrayed a mother to an 18-year-old in Swabhimaan. Her recent appearances include Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls and she has also featured in shows like Kittie Party, Dollar Bahu, and Sanjog Se Bani Sangini.
