Mumbai, Dec 7 (NationPress) Actress and singer Lulia Vantur is making her mark in the Bollywood scene, showcasing her talent as both an actor and a vocalist.
The talented actress, who enjoys a close relationship with superstar Salman Khan and his family, shared her thoughts with IANS about meeting Arbaaz Khan’s newborn daughter, Sipaara.
Lulia expressed to IANS, "Oh, she’s exquisite! A stunning child from a lovely family. She is destined to have a blessed life!" For those who might not know, Arbaaz Khan and his wife Sshura Khan celebrated the arrival of their daughter on October 5 this year.
The couple exchanged vows on December 24, 2023, during an intimate nikah ceremony held at Arpita Khan Sharma's residence in Mumbai.
Arbaaz took to social media to share the joyous news.
He wrote, "In the presence of our dear ones, we embark on a journey of love and unity starting today! We appreciate all your blessings and well wishes on our special day!"
The ceremony was a private gathering, attended by only close friends and family.
In recent weeks, Lulia Vantur, the Romanian actress, had the prestigious opportunity to perform in the holy city of the Vatican before the Pope.
Reflecting on her experience, Lulia told IANS, "It was thrilling and a significant responsibility. I chose to perform in both Romanian and Hindi to represent both sides of my identity at the Vatican. I feel half Indian at heart, so it felt right."
She added, "I sang two songs that were pivotal in my career: La Betleem Colo Joos, the Romanian rendition of 'Teri Meri', which is the original version, and naturally, 'Teri Meri'. Many years ago, I performed the Romanian version, which inspired Himesh Reshammiya and the team to transform it into the 'Teri Meri' everyone knows today. It's a song that resonates deeply, and I wanted its message to reach people there as well."
The singer went on to say, "Honestly, I didn’t have much time to prepare, which turned out to be a blessing as I didn’t have time to overthink. During rehearsals, before microphones arrived, I tested the auditorium's acoustics. My voice resonated beautifully through the space, making it feel like we didn’t even require microphones. That was a truly special moment."
Revealing a memorable incident, Lulia shared, "An organizer was so touched during rehearsal that she mentioned dreaming about me singing the next day. That was incredibly meaningful to me."
She further clarified, "Initially, I was invited to participate in a global anthem titled 'We Are the New World', created by Pooh Bear, a well-known American producer. The anthem promotes unity and kindness in a rapidly changing world. Later, they invited me to perform additional songs of my choice, and it felt natural to select 'La Betleem Colo Joos', 'Teri Meri', and my upcoming Christmas carol. It felt as if a higher power was guiding my choices."
The actress from 'Echoes of Us' also discussed her upcoming projects.
She informed IANS, "I just completed filming an action movie in the UK and will soon unveil a new Romanian Christmas song with a unique sound that audiences seem to love, even if they don’t understand the language. I also have two romantic tracks in two distinct Indian films, one in 'Echoes of Us' and another project that I can’t disclose yet. Numerous singles are in the works, along with ongoing live performances."
She added, "I recently took the stage in Delhi at Max Amini’s show, and the crowds were incredible. Performing live brings me immense joy; that exchange of energy is invaluable."
