Mumbai, Dec 2 (NationPress) The talented actress Meenakshi Seshadri has revealed one of her all-time favorite tracks by the iconic music composer R. D. Burman, highlighting his remarkable ability to create stunning romantic melodies.

Meenakshi posted a charming video on Instagram, where she is seen strolling through a lush garden, elegantly dressed in a black fitted outfit with a splash of color. The backdrop features the enchanting song “Aisa Sama Na Hota”, performed by the legendary Lata Mangeshkar for the film “Zameen Aasman”, which stars Sanjay Dutt and Anita Raaj.

In her caption, she expressed, “One of my favorite RD Burman songs from the 1980s. He created some beautiful romantic numbers and this one was pictured on my favorite co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Anita Raaj.”

“Zameen Aasman”, directed by Bharat Rangachary, narrates the story of a widower who experiences a wave of good fortune, including a new woman in his life who bears an uncanny resemblance to his deceased wife. Yet, her intentions might not be as pure as they seem.

Reflecting on Meenakshi, she emerged as one of the prominent actresses of Hindi cinema during the 1980s and 1990s.

Her cinematic journey began with the film Painter Babu in 1983, followed by the blockbuster Hero, which skyrocketed her to fame.

Meenakshi's illustrious career includes hits like “Aandhi-Toofan”, “Meri Jung”, “Swati”, “Dacait”, “Inaam Dus Hazaar”, “Shahenshah”, “Awaargi”, “Ghar Ho To Aisa”, “Damini”, and “Ghatak”. A documentary about her life titled Meenakshi Accept Her Wings was also made.

Her last appearance was in “Ghatak: Lethal”, a Hindi action thriller released in 1996, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Starring Sunny Deol, Meenakshi Seshadri, Amrish Puri, and Danny Denzongpa, it became the highest-grossing Bollywood film that year, both domestically and globally.
