In her heartfelt caption, she expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming love she has received alongside the film's release.
She wrote, “I couldn’t have imagined a better way to kick off my birthday. ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ is finally here, and I had all my loved ones with me. I will cherish this moment forever. This movie is filled with chaos, charm, and an amazing, loving, and talented cast.”
She continued, “Now that Rabia is out in the world, I hope you love her as much as I do and make a little space for her in your hearts too. Thank you to everyone who became part of my journey. #SOS 2 is now in theaters. Go watch it now. Sending hugs and kisses from Rabia (sic).”
Earlier, Mrunal taught choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan's star cook Dilip the trending dance move from ‘The Po Po Song’ featured in ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’. Farah shared a video of Mrunal guiding Dilip through the steps on Instagram, humorously noting it’s also an “exercise” for the jawline.
She added in Hindi, “This dance step doubles as an exercise. To maintain a sharp jawline, press your cheeks and follow the rhythm… 5, 6, 7, go.”
‘Son of Sardaar 2’ is a comedy directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. It serves as a standalone sequel to the 2012 action-comedy ‘Son of Sardaar’ and features a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, and Sanjay Mishra.
This film also marks the posthumous release of Mukul Dev. The plot centers around a man who pretends to be a war hero to help a couple win their parents' approval for marriage.
