The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared Allari Naresh's upcoming fantasy comedy 'Ramba Oorvasi Menaka' for theatrical release with a U/A certificate, with the film set to arrive in cinemas on 4 September. Directed by Chandra Mohan Chintada, the film is presented by the iconic Annapurna Studios in association with Hasya Movies.

Annapurna Studios shared the certification news on social media platform X, writing: 'U/A Certified. All Clear for Release. It's time for Full-On Entertainment in theatres. #RambaOorvasiMenaka IN CINEMAS ON SEPTEMBER 4th.' The post confirmed that the long-awaited comedy entertainer has crossed its final pre-release hurdle.

Nagarjuna's Stamp of Affection

Telugu star Nagarjuna had earlier unveiled the film's trailer on X, expressing personal warmth for the project. 'From EVV Satyanarayana garu to dearest Allari Naresh, this bond is truly close to my heart. So happy to collaborate with Naresh once again under the Annapurna Studios banner! What the Film Is About

The film follows Suri, played by Allari Naresh, whose years of prayers are answered when celestial apsaras Ramba, Oorvasi, and Menaka descend to earth — but without their divine powers. Their arrival triggers a cascade of comic chaos: his girlfriend is furious, the police come calling, and his mother is fighting for her life in hospital, all while Lord Indra hurls further challenges his way. The premise blends mythology, rural humour, and whimsical fantasy into what the makers describe as a 'colourful and unconventional' entertainer.

Surabhi plays the female lead opposite Naresh, while Vennela Kishore portrays Lord Indra in what promises to be a scene-stealing turn. The three apsaras are brought to life by Rashi Singh, Vishnupriya, and Prisha Singh.
