Mumbai, Sep 4 (NationPress) Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is preparing for his upcoming film 'Ek Chatur Naar', has discussed his journey and evolution as an actor over the course of his 18-year career.
During a promotional event for the film in Mumbai's Andheri area, he shared with IANS on Wednesday that he has significantly matured both personally and professionally, with life experiences enriching his artistic skills.
Neil stated, "I've witnessed a significant evolution in myself as an actor. I believe there's never a point where I can claim to have learned everything, as every day brings new learning opportunities. This sentiment is echoed by everyone in the industry, be it a director, actor, or writer. The maturity and experiences I've gained throughout my life inform my craft. My 20-year journey, filled with struggles, is my foundation. The understanding I've developed in human relationships undoubtedly enriches my emotional depth as an actor."
He expressed gratitude for starting his career under the guidance of Sriram Raghavan, a two-time National Award-winning director.
Neil made his debut in 'Johnny Gaddaar'.
He continued, "I've collaborated with over a dozen directors and worked on 30 films across various regional languages in India. When I finally got the chance to work with Umesh sir, it felt like a dream come true. After seeing his first film, 'Oh My God', I knew I wanted to work with him one day. I focused on manifesting that opportunity, and while it took some time, it finally materialized with an incredible character. I deeply appreciate his understanding of my skills and his technical prowess. This film is a substantial undertaking, and the way he cared for us on set was exceptional. I would love to relive that experience on the sets of 'Ek Chatur Naar'. I am hopeful for more opportunities soon, but I truly crave that experience again in my life."
Presented by T-Series, 'Ek Chatur Naar' is scheduled for release on September 12, 2025.
