Mumbai, June 30 (NationPress) Renowned actor and former MP Paresh Rawal shared his thoughts on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership during a recent podcast discussion.
On the podcast, the ‘Hera Pheri’ star commended PM Modi, stating that his true strength is rooted in his character. Rawal drew parallels between Modi and India’s Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He reminisced about the early days when numerous publications in Gujarat were critical of Modi, saying, “I remember all the newspapers in Gujarat were writing against Modi ji, but the public refused to believe them.”
“When I met Modi ji, I understood he was the right person, and that motivated me to campaign for him in the 2007 elections. I spoke sincerely, and the audience resonated with it,” Rawal noted.
The ‘OMG – Oh My God’ actor stressed that, as a responsible citizen, he feels compelled to support a leader who exemplifies integrity. “As a citizen, it’s my duty to stand with the right man, like Modi ji. Look at his character. The strongest aspect of Modi ji is his character. I often say, to defeat Modi, you must defeat him with another Modi. His character’s unyielding quality resonates with everyone,” he asserted.
Paresh Rawal also made a compelling comparison between PM Modi and Sardar Patel, saying, “I firmly believe Modi ji possesses many traits similar to Sardar Patel. He is incredibly perceptive. If he detects any ill intentions, he acts decisively. Truly, God has endowed him with a remarkable character.”
In the same podcast, the veteran actor announced his return to ‘Hera Pheri 3’. Rawal stated, “There’s no controversy. When the audience has cherished something so deeply, we must exercise extra caution. We owe it to the audience who has showered us with admiration. We cannot take their loyalty for granted; we must work diligently to deliver a great film.”
The 70-year-old actor remarked, “I believe everyone should unite and put in the effort. That’s all that matters. Everything is resolved now.”
