Mumbai, Sep 1 (NationPress) Actress Pooja Hegde revealed that she was feeling unwell but is now recovering, as all she truly needed was some quality “rest” to bounce back.
Pooja shared her journey on Instagram, posting a photo of her enjoying a cozy evening with her pet French bulldog on her balcony, snuggled up in a blanket. The actress was seen embracing her furry companion for added comfort.
In her caption, she expressed: “Sick days. Some rest and recovering was all that was needed.”
On the professional front, Pooja recently appeared in a song titled “Monica” from the newly released film “Coolie.”
“Coolie” is an Indian Tamil-language action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, featuring a star-studded cast including Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, and more.
This film marks the first collaboration between Sathyaraj and Rajinikanth in almost 38 years, their last being the blockbuster 'Mr Bharath' released in 1986, where Sathyaraj portrayed Rajinikanth's father. Interestingly, Sathyaraj had declined roles in some of Rajinikanth's earlier films like 'Enthiran' and 'Sivaji'.
'Coolie', which is Rajinikanth's 171st film, centers around the theme of gold smuggling. Notably, director Lokesh Kanakaraj has confirmed that 'Coolie' will be a standalone feature, not part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).
Next, Pooja will be featured in Jana Nayagan, a political action thriller directed by H. Vinoth, co-starring Vijay and Bobby Deol. This film is set to be Vijay's last before his political debut and also marks KVN's first Tamil production.
The film was officially announced in September 2024 under the working title Thalapathy 69, celebrating Vijay's 69th film as a leading actor, with the final title revealed in January 2025.
