Mumbai, Dec 2 (IANS) For an individual who was known as the 'ideal child,' content creator and actress Prajakta Koli reveals that her first significant encounter with mischief stemmed from one particular boy, whom she eventually married.
Reflecting on her childhood, Prajakta, who will appear in the series “Single Papa”, shared with IANS: “I was a really good child. I’m not claiming I was an academic star. My grades were quite average. Growing up as a lone child, I enjoyed a very amicable relationship with my parents and had a close-knit circle of 2-3 friends over the years. My childhood experiences have been consistent.”
Prajakta mentioned that she has never been particularly 'social' and that she 'hardly ever got into trouble.'
Sharing a charming anecdote about her transformation into a troublemaker, Prajakta said: “The only time I began to face issues was when I met the boy I married this year. That’s when I started going out at night and drinking. He introduced me to all of this, and that's when I faced a bit of scolding.”
She recounted a specific incident: “I recall being out partying with him and returning home quite late. I was a bit... The next morning, I woke up feeling anxious, thinking there would be consequences. My parents were having tea, so I quickly apologized, promising it wouldn’t happen again.”
“My mom shot me an angry look and said, 'I’ll give you three chances.' My dad chimed in, saying, 'You can come home drunk two more times, then we’ll discuss it.'”
“After that, he added, 'I found it somewhat amusing. I’m not sure what’s wrong with you; you missed out on all the fun when your peers were teenagers...'
“Single Papa” is set to stream on Netflix.
