Mumbai, Dec 23 (NationPress) Filmmaker Prakash Jha has announced that his forthcoming movie will stand out as the most political film in his entire career. While he is recognized for works such as 'Gangajal', 'Raajneeti', 'Satyagraha', and others, the film he has just finalized promises to deliver the most potent political commentary.

Jha, who is preparing to participate in the London Indian Film Festival, recently engaged in a conversation with IANS, revealing some details about this exciting project.

When questioned about his return to the realm of political cinema, he shared, “It's already completed. We'll discuss the next film, which I've just wrapped up, in detail at the appropriate moment. For now, I can assure you that this is my most politically charged film. The films I have made until now possess a political essence, yet they lack intense political fervor.”

He elaborated, “Take 'Raajneeti', for example; it was fundamentally a family saga focusing on the quest for power. However, it did not delve into ideologies, principles, the constitution, or human rights. The upcoming film genuinely addresses the politics of our era, and you will witness it soon.”

Known for his impactful and socially aware storytelling, Prakash Jha began his cinematic journey with documentaries before moving on to feature films that confront issues such as political corruption, caste disputes, crime, and systemic injustice.
