Politician and actor Sanjay Dutt's sister Priya Dutt paid a heartfelt tribute to her late mother, legendary actress Nargis, on her 97th birth anniversary on Monday, 1 June. Sharing that she was missing her mother 'a little extra' on the occasion, Priya celebrated Nargis's enduring legacy of strength, compassion, and quiet grace.

Priya shared a video compiling cherished old memories with the iconic actress on her official Instagram account. Alongside the video, she wrote: 'Some days make you pause and look back at all the love that shaped your life. Today is one of those days for me. Remembering my mother, her endless strength, her gentle heart, and the way she made life feel safe and beautiful. Missing her a little extra today.'

She added: 'Forty-five years have passed since she left us, but her light has always been the loving force guiding my way. My greatest inspiration, always.'
