Mumbai, Aug 13 (NationPress) The teaser for the much-anticipated Bengali film 'Devi Chowdhurani' was released on Wednesday. This cinematic piece features the iconic Prosenjit Chatterjee portraying the mysterious rebel leader Bhavani Pathak.
The teaser provides a captivating glimpse into Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay’s famed rebel heroine, interpreted by Srabanti Chatterjee. A striking line from the teaser reads: “Among metals, you are the meteor,” which serves as Bhavani’s homage to Devi, a woman tempered in fire and destined to shine brightly across time.
Prosenjit Chatterjee remarked about the film, “Witnessing a Bengali film that is deeply rooted in our culture, language, and history receive such affection is touching. Bhavani Pathak’s sentiments for Devi reflect her essence for Bengal: rare, resolute, and unforgettable.”
