Mumbai, March 25 (NationPress) The vibrant Bollywood star Ranveer Singh has collaborated with the original creators of the beloved track 'Ari Ari Ari', merging nostalgia with an invigorating twist as the song receives a fresh yet haunting rendition in the much-anticipated film Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar.

Initially performed by Bombay Rockers, the classic 'Ari Ari Ari' has been reinvented for contemporary audiences. This new version is featured in the film Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which stars a talented cast including Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Gaurav Gera, Rakesh Bedi, and Danish Pandor.

A clip showcasing Ranveer performing the track alongside Bombay Rockers’ Navtej Singh Rehal was posted on the band's official Instagram, displaying them singing the catchy hook of the song.

The caption for the video read: “AARI AARI AARI with DHURANDHAR.”

In 2003, Navtej Singh Rehal, a Danish-Indian vocalist, was introduced to the production team known as WCA, comprised of Thomas Sardorf and Janus Barnewitz.

They improvised together, leading to the formation of Bombay Rockers, with Navtej providing Punjabi and Hindi lyrics while Sardorf performed in English. Barnewitz contributed to production and the initial management of the group.

Their first collaboration, 'Ari Ari', gained substantial airplay in Denmark. In July 2003, Bombay Rockers performed live with the EDM duo Filur at the Roskilde Festival in front of an audience of approximately 25,000.

Their debut album's first single, 'Sexy Mama', was released in late 2003, followed by the major radio hit 'Rock tha Party', which appeared in the 2016 action film Rocky Handsome. Their album Introducing debuted in 2005.

The second album, Crash and Burn, was launched in 2007, followed by their third album, Rock and Dhol, in 2011, which received positive reviews and featured popular singles like 'Lets Dance', 'Nava Nava', and 'Ishq', resonating well in Denmark as well as in India and Pakistan.

On another note, Dhurandhar is the first part of a duology set to release in 2025. The film's cast includes Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.

It centers around a high-stakes covert counter-terrorism mission, following an undercover Indian intelligence agent penetrating Karachi's criminal networks and political systems in Pakistan to dismantle a terror organization targeting India.

Recently released, Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues the story of an undercover agent who infiltrates Karachi's criminal factions and Pakistani politics while avenging the 26/11 attacks and tackling even larger threats.

The film's plot is loosely inspired by real geopolitical events and tensions in South Asia, including Operation Lyari, the 2014 Indian general election, the 2016 Indian banknote demonetization, among others.
