Chennai, Dec 2 (NationPress) The talented actress Rashmika Mandanna unveiled the much-anticipated trailer for the upcoming romantic action film 'Mowgli 2025', directed by Sandeep Raj, which features Roshan Kanakala in the lead role, exciting both fans and cinema enthusiasts.

The trailer opens with Bandi Saroj Kumar, portraying a police officer, recounting a fable about a king with seven sons. He narrates how the sons went hunting and returned with seven fishes, leading to an intriguing interaction with a bystander about whether fish can speak.

The preview then introduces the protagonist, Roshan Kanakala, as his friend Bunty describes him, saying, "To me, he is Kittu. To all the others, he is Mowgli." It becomes evident that Mowgli (played by Roshan) and his friend have a deep understanding of the jungle. The backdrop intensifies when a film crew arrives to shoot, and Jasmine (Sakshi Sagar Mhadolkar) joins as a background dancer. Mowgli finds himself drawn to Jasmine, who is speech and hearing impaired.

The trailer hints at conflict when a lewd character expresses his intentions toward Jasmine, while Mowgli asserts, "This isn’t your city, where people hold candle marches after the fact. We light torches directly."

As tensions escalate, the narrative shifts with the transfer of the local police Sub Inspector, replaced by a ruthless officer determined to maintain control over his territory.

Viewers see glimpses of Mowgli's struggles to prove his innocence as the plot unfolds, showcasing a clash between Roshan Kanakala's character and Bandi Saroj Kumar's role, revolving around themes of love and conflict.

Sources close to the film's production disclosed to IANS that they recently wrapped up a significant third shooting schedule spanning 15 days.

This schedule included filming an elaborate climax action sequence in Maredumilli. Remarkably, Roshan Kanakala undertook many of the intense stunts himself, which are expected to be key highlights of the film.

Notably, Roshan Kanakala, who gained acclaim for his performance in his debut film 'Bubble Gum', leads the cast in 'Mowgli 2025', helmed by Sandeep Raj, acclaimed for his National Award-winning film 'Color Photo'.

The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Kriti Prasad under the People Media Factory banner.

This film marks Sakshi Sagar Mhadolkar's debut as a lead actress, with cinematography by Rama Maruthi M. The music will be composed by Kala Bhairava, while Kodati Pawan Kalyan handles the editing. Kiran Mamidi is responsible for the art direction, and action choreography is led by Nataraj Madigonda. The screenplay is by Rama Maruthi M and Radhakrishna Reddy.
