Rishab Shetty Eager to Collaborate with Sandeep Reddy Vanga on Upcoming Projects

Mumbai, Dec 20 (NationPress) Rishab Shetty, known for his role in 'Kantara', has expressed a strong desire to collaborate with Sandeep Reddy Vanga on any ongoing projects by the director.

He emphasized that, despite encountering significant controversies, directors like Vanga enjoy a massive fanbase. Rishab stated: "It’s unbelievable; no one thinks like him, and I doubt he can replicate his unique thought process again. I would be thrilled to engage in any of his upcoming projects."

During an open discussion with actor and host Rana Daggubati on “The Rana Daggubati Show”, Rishab shared insights into his filmmaking experiences, alongside actress Neha Shetty. The conversation took place in Rishab’s hometown, Keradi, where he discussed his aspirations to transform his village into a cinematic hub.

Rishab elaborated on the inception of 'Kantara', explaining how deeply it is connected to his roots and community.

“Since I was a child, I dreamed of filming in my village and its forests in Keradi. I explored this location for various films, but it never materialized until 'Kantara' was finally filmed here. Over 700 villagers contributed to this collective effort, which is why I affectionately call my home KFCKeradi Film City.

He also highlighted how the film has changed the way his village perceives cinema.

"This area isn't traditionally known for films, but 'Kantara' allowed the locals to see their own lives reflected on the big screen. It resonated with them, resulting in an outpouring of love and support."

In a touching segment of the episode, Rishab’s wife, Pragathi Shetty, shared the heartwarming story of their first encounter.

“I was a fan of Rakshit Shetty, and attended a screening of Ricky with friends. One of my friends wanted a photo with Rishab, and we started talking. I expressed how proud I was of his journey from a small village to achieving so much in cinema. That's when he fell for me! He sent me a friend request on social media, and that was the beginning of everything.”

The unscripted Telugu Original eight-episode series features an impressive lineup of guests, including Dulquer Salmaan, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Sreeleela, Nani, S.S. Rajamouli, Ram Gopal Varma, and many more.

“The Rana Daggubati Show” is available exclusively on Prime Video.
