Mumbai, Dec 27 (NationPress) Saba Pataudi extended her heartfelt wishes on the wedding anniversary of her parents, Sharmila Tagore and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, labeling them as one of the most iconic couples in history on Saturday.

Saba shared some rare photographs of this remarkable couple on her Instagram, referring to her father, Mansoor, as her universe and her mother, Sharmila, as her Bengali inspiration.

In her tribute, she wrote, "Happy Anniversary...To one of the most iconic couples in history....! My handsome Dad and beautiful Ma, Abba...my hero and universe...Amma...my Bengali influence and guide. Both of whom I took the best from to become my individual self. I feel blessed to have such loving parents! #happyanniversary (sic)."

Saba fondly reminisced about a quirky anniversary tradition where her father would feign forgetting their anniversary and would surprise her mother with flowers.

"I remember reminding Abba every year, who pretended he had forgotten! And he would buy Ma flowers every single time. That was our ritual. I miss it," she expressed.

Sharmila Tagore and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi tied the knot on December 27, 1968.

The couple is blessed with three children: son Saif Ali Khan and daughters Soha and Saba.

Saba is known for always remembering to celebrate the special occasions of her loved ones.

Recently, she celebrated her nephew Taimur's birthday, describing him as a beautiful fusion of the Khans and Kapoors.

She shared nostalgic photos with Taimur on social media, writing, "My TimTim (red heart emoji) turns 10! Mahsha'Allah (Evil eye emoji)...From the boy we held to the young man you're becoming, I see you grow, a wonderful blend of the Khans and Kapoors...Your grandfather would be so proud, just as I am.
