Did Samantha Just Claim 'ROFL' Was Inspired by Her?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Chennai, Feb 23 (NationPress) Actress Samantha has humorously revealed to her fans on Instagram that the acronym 'ROFL', signifying Roll On the Floor Laughing, was inspired by her.
In a playful mood, she shared a video where she was laughing heartily while rolling on the floor, responding to the query, "What is the most funniest thing about yourself?" by stating, "ROFL was actually coined after me."
On a serious note, when addressing another question regarding her feelings about both positive and negative comments on social media, she remarked, "Praise doesn't move me. Trolls don't either. But if you bring negativity into my home, I will block you. Just as I keep my space clean, being blocked doesn't mean you affected me. It simply indicates you are not welcome here."
Additionally, Samantha announced on Sunday the release date for her highly anticipated film, 'Maa Inti Bangaaram', set to hit theaters on May 15 this year.
She informed her followers about the film's release via a social media update, stating, "See you in theatres this summer, Bangaraalu…#MaaIntiBangaaram Grand Release worldwide on 15th May, 2026 #MiBonMay15th #MiB" (sic).
For those unfamiliar, the first look poster of the eagerly awaited film was revealed by the makers in January.
Samantha disclosed that Maa Inti Bangaaram, directed by BV Nandini Reddy, is grounded and emotional.
“Maa Inti Bangaaram narrates the tale of a woman whose strength is drawn from both her vulnerability and courage. Portraying this character and producing this film has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me," she expressed.
Samantha continued, “The narrative of this film is deeply emotional and rooted in family values while maintaining an edgy, quirky energy. I am genuinely excited for audiences to engage with this story and its spirit when it debuts."
The film is produced under Samantha's banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, alongside her husband Raj Nidimoru and Himank Duvurruu.
