Hyderabad, Oct 8 (NationPress) The crew of director Maruthi's highly anticipated horror thriller 'The Raja Saab', starring Prabhas, has officially commenced a fresh shooting schedule in Greece to film the last two songs of the project.

In a post on their X timeline, Production House People Media Factory announced, "Rebel Star is painting Greece in his colors of glory. The team of #TheRajaSaab kicks off a new schedule with two chart-topping songs being crafted to Shake the nation. #TheRajaSaabOnJan9th #Prabhas @directormaruthi @MusicThaman."

Alongside the announcement, the production house shared a snap of Prabhas's vibrant footwear.

This update coincides with the birthday of director Maruthi, celebrated on Wednesday.

It’s noteworthy that the team has already wrapped up all the dialogue sequences for the film and has started dubbing.

Initially, the film was set to premiere globally on December 5 this year, but it is now rescheduled for release on January 9 next year.

Fans and cinema enthusiasts are buzzing with excitement, especially after the release of an enthralling trailer that has only heightened anticipation.

The trailer begins with Prabhas being hypnotized by an expert to dig into his past. As he explores his history, he senses a strange entity lurking in the shadows, abruptly awakening from his trance. The film promises not only spine-chilling horror but also ample humor, as demonstrated in a sequence where a spirit approaches Prabhas, who greets it as his grandfather, offering introductions to those nearby. A bewildered VTV Ganesh questions the rationale behind the introductions, to which Prabhas responds, "Then, what are you waiting for? Run!"

The film blends romance, action, and humor alongside horror, suggesting audiences will be treated to exhilarating action sequences. The character portrayed by Sanjay Dutt is introduced with a voiceover stating, "He is not some street magician who knows a few spells. He's an exorcist, a hypnotist, and a psychiatrist. He's playing with our brains."

Finally, the trailer reveals another side of Prabhas as a demon, confidently asserting, "What's your problem? Am I an ant to sting you when you reach into the anthill? I'm the demon," while stylishly smoking a cigar, seated upside down on a throne that appears suspended from the ceiling.

This film has sparked considerable expectations as Prabhas steps into uncharted territory with this venture. The Raja Saab marks Prabhas's first complete horror entertainer.
