In a heartfelt reflection on his cherished relationship with Dilip Sahab and Saira Banu, SRK expressed that their affection and blessings have accompanied him throughout his cinematic journey. The 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards notably honored Bollywood's legend, Dilip Kumar, with the Cine Icon Award, which was accepted by Shah Rukh Khan on behalf of Saira Banu, who was unable to attend.
During his address, the ‘Dilwale’ star stated, “I fully respect and appreciate this incredible honor, that Saira ji deemed me worthy of accepting this award for Mr. Dilip. When I arrived in Mumbai, Dilip Sahab and Saira ji welcomed me into their lives. He placed his hand on my head and said, ‘Saira, if we had a son, he would have been like this.’ That blessing has been with me my entire life,” SRK reminisced. “Throughout my journey in this industry, I have cherished that blessing. That was his greatness, and that was Saira ji’s love.”
