On that same day, there was a rehearsal, and he managed to attend it. During the rehearsal, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He took some medication, but my mother sensed something was wrong and insisted, ‘Call the doctor.’)
He continued, “Doctor immediately aaya, between Mahim and Bombay Hospital, when dad was travelling teen attack aaye in the ambulance. Maximum five minutes mein doctor said, sorry he is no more.”
(The doctor arrived promptly. While my father was being transported from Mahim to Bombay Hospital, he experienced three attacks in the ambulance. In no more than five minutes, the doctor regretfully declared, ‘Sorry, he is no more.’)
