Mumbai, Nov 29 (NationPress) The passing of superstar Dharmendra on November 24 sent shockwaves through the nation, particularly within the Bollywood community. In the wake of this tragic news, numerous notable figures from the film industry made their way to the Deol residence. Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha shared his condolences on his X (formerly Twitter) account, revealing that he had recently visited Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and their family.

He expressed, "Upon returning from Delhi, I went to our beloved family friend's home with a heavy heart, mourning the loss of our elder brother, @aapkadharam."

Sinha continued, "The meeting with his incredible sons, @iamsunnydeol, Bobby Deol, @thedeol, his lovely wife Tanya, and their charming sons Dharam and especially Aryaman was deeply moving."

He added, "It was wonderful to reminisce about Dharmji, a remarkable individual who will forever be cherished for the countless lives he impacted. I prayed for their peace and strength during these trying times. Om Shanti."

On November 27, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol held a prayer meeting for the late superstar, which saw the presence of many luminaries from Bollywood.

Singer Sonu Nigam performed songs honoring the late superstar at this gathering, celebrating Dharmendra and his legacy.

Another prayer meeting was organized the same day by Hema Malini, Dharmendra's second wife, alongside their daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol at their home in Mumbai.

On November 25, actor Jeetendra, in his mid-80s, was seen making his way slowly to the Deol family's residence to offer his support to his best friend’s family during this sorrowful time.

Additionally, Hrithik Roshan and his father Rakesh Roshan also paid a visit to the grieving family.

For those unaware, Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89 on November 24. He had been placed on a ventilator in mid-November due to breathing issues but was later discharged to continue his treatment at home.
