Chennai, Oct 4 (NationPress) Actress Shraddha Srinath, renowned for her exceptional roles in the Tamil film industry, including the critically acclaimed 'Vikram Vedha', has made her debut in dubbing for Tamil with the newly released web series 'The Game: You Never Play Alone'.

In an exclusive chat with IANS, Shraddha revealed this is her initial experience dubbing in Tamil.

With a bright smile, she shared, "I feel quite at ease speaking Tamil, yet I also experience shyness. Consequently, my self-confidence dips when I converse in Tamil. Being sensitive, if someone mocks my pronunciation of a word, I might avoid saying it forever, as that moment sticks with me."

She emphasized her ability to engage in Tamil conversations if necessary, stating, "If I'm in a cab and realize I must speak Tamil, just watch me. I will have profound discussions in Tamil. Here, I know people would understand English, so I tend to take that route."

Confirming her Tamil dubbing debut, Shraddha explained, "I believed I was ready to dub long ago. Starting from 'Vikram Vedha', where Pushkar Gayatri conducted a dub test, I would read Tamil as if it were in English. Back then, it was challenging, but now I feel I've refined it. Plus, I received extensive support from Rajesh sir."

'The Game: You Never Play Alone' is particularly special for Shraddha, as it marks her first-ever web series and her debut Tamil dubbing.

The series is currently available for streaming on Netflix and is directed by Rajesh M Selva, acclaimed for his stylish thrillers like 'Thoonga Vanam', 'Kadaram Kondan', and the well-received web series 'Irai'.

Featuring Shraddha Srinath and Santhosh Prathap in lead roles, the seven-episode series also includes Chandini Tamilarasan in a key role.
