Mumbai, July 30 (NationPress) The producers of “Param Sundari” have officially released the motion poster for the anticipated film, confirming its arrival in theaters on August 29.
In a joint post on Instagram, Janhvi Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, and Maddock introduced the motion poster showcasing the pair. Sidharth appears dapper in a shirt and jeans, carrying a bag over his shoulder.
The beautiful actress is depicted performing a classical dance in a stunning saree. The motion poster highlights their paths crossing.
The poster ends with the tagline: “In cinemas worldwide. 29th August 2025. A Maddock Films Production.” Additionally, it noted that the film’s first song, “Pardesiya”, will debut on Wednesday.
The video post is captioned: “Dinesh Vijan presents the Biggest Love Story of the Year. #ParamSundari arrives in theaters on 29th August. Within just an hour, experience its essence with the year’s most touching song — #Pardesiya.”
Originally, the film was set to premiere on July 25, 2025.
The narrative revolves around a romantic relationship between a North Indian, portrayed by Sidharth, and a South Indian girl, filmed against the picturesque backdrop of Kerala.
The film “promises a moving story of love, where two cultures entwine, and sparks are destined to fly. Set amidst the stunning backwaters of Kerala, this love story is filled with humor, chaos, and unforeseen surprises,” according to a description from Maddock, as reported by variety.com.
“It’s reminiscent of those films directed by Mani Ratnam, like ‘Saathiya’,” shared Maddock chief Dinesh Vijan with Variety.
“The music is captivating, and Janhvi portraying a South Indian character adds an intriguing twist, while Sid embodies a Northern Delhi youth, creating a compelling conflict. It’s akin to advancing ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ – there’s a modern twist involved. We’re also exploring the vibe of ‘Kantara’ and pushing the boundaries a bit further.”
