On Thursday, the pair shared a collection of their affectionate moments from the trip on Instagram, stating, “Rome in a jiffy at the @anantarapalazzonaiadi! Cozy dinners with a view, a fun buggy ride through the city, and some mandatory sightseeing! Two days well spent!!”
From enjoying intimate dinners with stunning views of the city to capturing memories at some of the most picturesque locations in Rome, Sonakshi and Zaheer are cherishing every second of their retreat. In the first snapshot, Zaheer is seen with his head resting on Sonakshi’s shoulder. The next photo shows the 'Akira' actress making a victory sign, while the third mirror selfie captures the couple in a romantic pose.

Earlier, the couple humorously inquired if anyone was casting for an Italian mafia film, jesting an invitation to reach out. Sonakshi shared a series of pictures of the two of them dressed sharply in Italy, accompanied by the iconic theme from The Godfather, starring Al Pacino. She captioned the post: "Anyone casting for an Italian mafia movie… call us."
Sonakshi and Zaheer first met at a party hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan. Both actors commenced their careers in Salman’s orbit; Sonakshi made her debut alongside him in the blockbuster 'Dabangg', while Zaheer debuted in Salman Khan’s production 'Notebook'. The couple reportedly dated for seven years and cohabited for a year before finally tying the knot.
Sonakshi began her relationship with Zaheer in 2017, and the couple appeared together in the 2022 film 'Double XL'. They exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony on June 23 this year, surrounded by family and industry peers.
The couple wed in a civil ceremony under the Special Marriage Act. They commemorated their one-month wedding anniversary in the Philippines and shared glimpses of the celebration on social media.
