The film Don is an action thriller directed by Chandra Barot, featuring a storyline crafted by the renowned duo Salim–Javed. Iconic actor Amitabh Bachchan plays dual roles, alongside notable stars like Zeenat Aman, Pran, Iftekhar, Om Shivpuri, and Satyen Kappu.
On December 31, Urmila bid farewell to 2024 with a heartwarming message of gratitude, sharing beautiful moments from the year. She expressed, “Goodbye 2024… what a ride you have been!! I’m only grateful for everything that you brought with you. I accept, with all humility, everything you gave me with a smile and move forward.”

In recent news, Urmila has been in the spotlight for filing for divorce from her husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir after an eight-year marriage. Reports indicate that the petition was submitted in Bandra, Mumbai, in September, and sources claim that the separation was not mutual, occurring four months ago.
Urmila began her acting journey as a child in the 1977 film Karm and later appeared in various films including Narsimha, Rangeela, Judaai, Satya, Jungle, Antham, Gaayam, Indian, Kaun?, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Bhoot, Ek Hasina Thi, and Pinjar.
Her most recent film was the Marathi movie Ajoba in 2014, where she portrayed the character Purva Rao. Additionally, she made a special appearance in the 2018 black comedy-drama Blackmail.
