Mumbai, Nov 17 (NationPress) The directorial debut of actor-filmmaker Uttera Singh, named 'Pinch', is poised to make its Asia premiere at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

This year, the film garnered an enthusiastic response during its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival. Directed by and featuring Uttera Singh, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast that includes Geeta Agrawal, Sunita Rajwar, Sapna Sand, Badri Chavan, and Nitish Panday. The reception at Tribeca was overwhelmingly positive, captivating both audiences and critics alike.

'Pinch' is a dark comedic drama set against the backdrop of the Navratri festival. It delves into secrets, societal dynamics, and the evolving power structures within an Indian apartment complex. The narrative centers on Maitri, an aspiring travel vlogger facing career challenges, family conflicts, and unresolved grief. Her life spirals after a disturbing encounter with a trusted neighbor.

Regarding its upcoming IFFI premiere, director Uttera Singh remarked, “Film festivals hold immense significance in the realm of independent filmmaking, as they provide platforms for stories like ours to reach a wider audience.
