Mumbai, July 19 (NationPress) A burglary occurred at the vacant bungalow of former actress Sangeeta Bijlani in the Pawandharan region, resulting in the theft of a television valued at Rs 7,000 and Rs 50,000 in cash, totaling Rs 57,000.
The bungalow is situated in the Tikona Peth area of the Pune district. A report has been filed at the Lonavla Rural Police Station, following a complaint lodged by Mohammed Mujeeb Khan, an employee of Bijlani.
Authorities revealed that the bungalow had remained unoccupied for a span of 4 months. The theft was discovered on July 18 when Bijlani arrived at her property around 9:30 am. The intruders accessed the premises through the rear and made off with the television and cash from the first floor.
The perpetrators have not yet been apprehended. An official response from the actress regarding the incident is still pending. Sangeeta Bijlani is known for her active presence on social media, often sharing glimpses of her life with fans. She recently marked her 65th birthday with a celebration attended by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
