Chennai, Nov 14 (NationPress) Director Vignesh Shivan and his wife, actress Nayanthara, recently visited the famous Kukke Subrahmanya Swamy temple located in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka, to offer their prayers.
On Friday, Vignesh Shivan shared a photo on his Instagram, showcasing himself and Nayanthara outside the revered temple.
This temple is notable for having been visited earlier this year by well-known Telugu film director Sampath Nandi, who came with his family to pray on his birthday.
Vignesh Shivan's pilgrimage to the temple coincides with the impending release of his highly anticipated film, 'Love Insurance Kompany' (LIK), starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in leading roles.
It is worth noting that he had to delay the film's release from October 17 to December 18 to prevent a conflict with Pradeep Ranganathan's movie 'Dude'.
This film has faced multiple postponements, putting the director under significant stress. In fact, Vignesh Shivan had shared a heartfelt message celebrating the 10-year anniversary of his blockbuster 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' on October 17.
On Instagram, he reflected, "Ten years of NaanumRowdyDhaan today… October 21st 2015 :) A life filled with miracles began on this beautiful day. The passage of time is truly enchanting…"
He expressed that he envisioned this milestone differently, wishing that 'Love Insurance Kompany' (LIK) would have touched the hearts of audiences, making the day even more memorable.
He added, "Deep down, I reserved my joy for that moment. Yet, life, in its subtle wisdom, has taught me a far more beautiful lesson today."
Highlighting that despite the absence of a “big moment,” he found genuine contentment, he remarked that perhaps this Diwali was meant to remind him that true happiness does not always stem from accolades or spectacular achievements or release dates.
"We pursue milestones thinking they’ll solely bring us joy. However, happiness is not such a challenging destination! If you simplify and embrace it, it can manifest as a gentle reprieve from the chaos, a soothing calmness, or the warm embrace of your beloved spouse. The innocent laughter of your children, oblivious to hidden sorrows, and the unconditional love from family and friends—all of these are as significant as the grand victories we often reserve our joy for. I've learned that you don’t need to 'win' to be happy," he stated.
"Simply being present with all the small, beautiful blessings surrounding you is more than sufficient. Sometimes dreams take unexpected paths, but God, in His quiet manner, always finds a way and timing to evoke a smile. Anticipate it with a joyful heart and positive energy. A heart filled with gratitude, even amidst unfulfilled plans, is truly blessed, abundant in love and acceptance," he concluded.
"Nenacchadhu nadandhaalum, nadakkalanaalum! Nalladheyyyy nadakkummm nu nambuvom (Whether what you believe occurs or not, let us trust that only good things will happen). Believe that…. Life is beautiful! God is great!" he expressed.
