Chennai, April 15 (NationPress) Director Pradeep Chilukuri has revealed the remarkable dedication of Telugu cinema star Vijayashanthi, who continued to film a crucial scene in his much-anticipated action flick ‘Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi’, even while suffering from a high temperature.

The film, featuring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Vijayashanthi, is set to be released globally on April 18 this year. Chilukuri shared that the film includes numerous action sequences for both Kalyan Ram and Vijayashanthi.

“The movie showcases a variety of fight scenes. The first action segment of Vijayashanthi was choreographed by Prithvi Master, while Ramakrishna Master handled the interval and climax battles. Peter Master was responsible for the hero introduction and climax fights, and Raghuvaran Master choreographed the villain sequences. All the action sequences have turned out exceptionally well,” he stated.

Chilukuri recounted a particular incident that highlighted Vijayashanthi's unwavering commitment. “There is a forest scene that required the actors to stay in mud for over two hours. They had to remain lying in the mud until the shot was complete. We later discovered that Madam garu was suffering from a high fever, her hands were visibly shaking. Nevertheless, she refused to leave the shooting location until the scene was finished. Her dedication was inspiring. I experienced goosebumps while watching her performance; it felt like Kalyan Ram and Vijayashanthi were competing in their acting prowess,” he shared.

A teaser released recently has hinted that the film's storyline centers on the tension between a mother, a committed police officer, and her son who rises to a position of power.

The audience is particularly intrigued by Vijayashanthi's role as Vyjayanthi IPS, a character she portrayed in a classic film that became a cult hit.

‘Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi’ is produced by Ashok Vardhan Muppa and Sunil Balusu.

The film's cinematography is handled by Ram Prasad, while Ajaneesh Loknath has composed the music. Tammiraju is in charge of editing, and Srikanth Vissa has penned the screenplay.

In addition to Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Vijayashanthi, the film will also feature Sohail Khan, Saiee Manjrekar, Srikanth, and Animal Prithviraj in significant roles.

The screenplay is written by Srikanth Vissa, and the art direction is managed by Brahma Kadali. Action sequences in the film have been choreographed by Ramakrishna and Peter Hein.
