Mumbai, March 10 (NationPress) Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor have officially concluded the filming of their eagerly anticipated movie "Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan".
In a social media update, Shanaya expressed her excitement, stating, "Love, Deception & Surprise - A package on your way. #AankhonKiGustaakhiyan shoot wraps. See you on the big screen soon!"
The announcement included a delightful behind-the-scenes video showcasing Vikrant and Shanaya enjoying themselves off-camera as they worked on "Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan" in the chilly European climate.
Directed by Santosh Singh, this film will be Shanaya Kapoor's debut in Bollywood.
The storyline is inspired by Ruskin Bond's beloved short tale, "The Eyes Have It". In the movie, Shanaya portrays a theatre artist, while Vikrant takes on the role of a blind musician.
The script for "Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan" has been crafted by renowned writers Niranjan Iyengar and Mansi Bagla. The film is produced by Mansi and Varun Bagla's Mini Films, marking their second collaboration with Vikrant following the "Forensic" remake.
Shooting for "Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan" began in Mussoorie last October. Although an official release date has yet to be disclosed, the film is projected to hit theaters around mid-2025.
Interestingly, Shanaya was originally set to make her debut in Karan Johar's "Bedhadak", alongside Lakshya and Gurfateh Parizada, but the project was reportedly shelved for unspecified reasons.
