Chennai, Aug 10 (NationPress) One of the leading film music composers in South India, Vishal Chandrashekar, has shared insights on why this year's Raksha Bandhan holds a special significance for him and his family, who have a long-standing tradition of celebrating this festival.

In a heartfelt post on his Instagram, he revealed that this year, he had the unique opportunity to reunite with both of his sisters after an extended period apart.

He expressed, "Some souls in this world remain untouched by the passage of time, and some relationships are so precious that even referring to them as family feels like an understatement.

"Today, I was fortunate enough to create a special memory with my dear Suja akka and Priya akka. They have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, from the days when I dined at their home, enjoyed television in their living room, and spent carefree afternoons in Kharagpur... which feels like almost 30 years ago."

Vishal continued, "Every year, we’ve maintained the tradition of Raksha Bandhan, but this year felt distinct, more heartwarming, as I got to reunite with both of them at once after such a long time.

"For a few hours, it was as if I was transported back to my childhood. We shared laughter, reminisced about the past, and marveled at how far we’ve come, while realizing how little has changed in our feelings for one another. PS - always a fan of Gege maami’s crispy dosai!"

His post resonated widely, attracting admiration from not just netizens but also his sisters.
