Mumbai, March 24 (NationPress) Renowned Bollywood icon Zeenat Aman dedicated her weekend to reorganizing her closet and disclosed that her luxurious designer bags have been largely pushed to the rear of her wardrobe.
Zeenat took to Instagram to showcase her assortment of straw hats, scarves, sunglasses, and jholas.
She remarked: “I spent the weekend cleaning out my closet. The kids suggested I post some 'outfit of the day' photos, but I truly enjoyed sorting through my accessories more.”
The actress expressed, “Although I appreciate certain high street brands, I find greater joy in shopping at boutiques and exhibitions. I prefer to keep my everyday style simple to allow my accessories to shine.” @zanuski was generous enough to capture stunning photos of a selection of my favorites to share with you.”
Zeenat mentioned her fondness for beach vacations, which explains her notable love for straw hats! “This white floral hat accompanied me on my last trip to Goa. When sized correctly, I find sun hats to be both chic and practical.”

“You’ll hardly see me without my sunglasses. I confess they serve as my security blanket, but at least they are remarkably stylish. I own about 10 pairs, with my most worn being from Burberry, Prada, and Gucci.
She elaborated on her love for scarves.
“I use them for various purposes - to enhance an outfit, to shield my hair, to cover my nose and mouth from dust, and to keep my hair off my neck… the ones featured here are from markets in Cape Town, London, Taiwan, and of course India!”
“I’m somewhat of a classic cliche regarding jewelry. Diamonds and pearls are statement pieces enough for me,” the actress noted while discussing her jewelry.
Revealing why she opts for jholas instead of designer bags, Zeenat stated: “My fancy designer purses have mostly been pushed to the back of my wardrobe. I’m too mature for their pretentiousness! Now I seek a comfy, large jhola or basket that can accommodate the 1001 essentials I can’t leave home without!”
