"India and Ethiopia share a history of contact, communication, and exchange spanning thousands of years. Our nations, celebrated for their linguistic and cultural diversity, exemplify unity in diversity. We are both democratic nations dedicated to peace and the welfare of humanity. Together, we are co-passengers and partners of the Global South. On the global stage, we have stood united. In his remarks, PM Abiy Ahmed commended PM Modi for his consistent message that Africa's priorities should guide their partnership.
"Currently, we require a clear focus to cultivate a modern partnership grounded in sovereignty, self-reliance, and practical cooperation. Our collaboration is founded on equality and South-South solidarity, aligning closely with our indigenous philosophies," stated Abiy Ahmed Ali.
