Port of Spain, Nov 17 (NationPress) Indian diplomatic missions worldwide commemorated International Gita Mahotsav 2025, honoring the enduring spiritual and philosophical teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.

The Gita Mahotsav is observed to promote the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, which emphasize duty, righteousness, and knowledge on the Ekadashi (11th lunar day) during the Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) in the Margashirsha month of the Indian calendar, marking the occasion when Lord Krishna imparted the eternal wisdom of the Gita to Arjun on the battlefield of Kurukshetra.
