Karachi, May 28 (NationPress) The notorious reputation of Deep State Pakistan as a sanctuary for global terrorists was reaffirmed yet again on Wednesday, as posters displaying Lashkar-e-Taiba leaders alongside Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir appeared across the nation on the 27th anniversary of 'Youm-e-Takbeer', or 'day of greatness'. This day commemorates the execution of five simultaneous underground nuclear tests in Balochistan on May 28, 1998.
From Karachi to Lahore, numerous posters and digital billboards depicted Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) alongside high-ranking generals of the Pakistan Army, coinciding with the global calls for Islamabad to undertake serious and irrevocable actions against terrorism emanating from all areas under its influence, including Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), especially after the horrific April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
A group identifying itself as The Resistance Front (TRF), linked to the UN-designated terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility for the attack that resulted in the deaths of 26 innocent civilians.
Despite its long history of sponsoring cross-border terrorism in India, Pakistan continues to deny its deep-seated connections with global terrorist networks, resorting to alarmist rhetoric to distract from the core issue.
The stark reality of Pakistan's involvement in terrorism is exposed daily, not just on Youm-e-Takbeer.
"Only in Pakistan can a nuclear celebration feature terrorists and generals on the same billboard. Lashkar-e-Taiba and the Pak Army, side by side - and the world still pretends they're separate? Youm-e-Takbeer is a showcase of state-sponsored terror," remarked a user on X.
As Pakistani politicians engaged in self-congratulatory rhetoric on Wednesday, declaring 'Youm-e-Takbeer' as the moment Pakistan "embraced sovereignty over submission", social media was rife with mockery, particularly following India's recent strikes on Pakistani air bases and terrorist infrastructure during the decisive Operation Sindoor.
"Digital billboards in Lahore showcase Lashkar-e-Taiba alongside the Pakistan Army. On April 28, Lashkar-e-Taiba and PMLN are celebrating Youm-e-Takbeer across Pakistan, despite the loss of numerous terrorist camps and PAF airbases," noted Faraz Pervaiz, a Pakistani Christian accused of blasphemy by Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
While Pakistan continues to glorify terrorism, making it clear that it will not change its ways, India has been actively exposing the terrorist factions operating from Pakistani soil at various international platforms, highlighting the true epicenter of global terrorism.
"Recently, senior government, police, and military officials paid their respects at the funerals of notorious terrorists targeted by Operation Sindoor. High-ranking military leaders, including Lieutenant General Fayyaz Hussain Shah and Major General Rao Imran, and Punjab Police Inspector General Usman Anwar, attended the funerals of terrorists killed in the Operation Sindoor strikes, including Hafiz Abdur Rauf, a senior leader of Lashkar-e-Taiba designated as a terrorist by the US government," stated P. Harish, India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, during a recent UN Security Council session.
India has also shared multiple inputs regarding the TRF with the UN's 1267 Sanctions Committee, emphasizing its role as a facade for Pakistan-based terrorist organizations. Previously, in December 2023, India had informed the monitoring team about the operations of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad through smaller terror factions like the TRF.
